The city of Pasadena will host a meeting for the public to learn more about the Transit Operations and Maintenance Facility.
The event — from 6 to 8 p.m. May 28, at the Lamanda Park Library at 140 S. Altadena Drive — seeks to offer residents a look at the vision behind the new garage designed to support the city’s fixed-route Pasadena Transit services and the Pasadena Dial-A-Ride paratransit services.
The new facility is planned for 2180 E. Foothill Blvd. and 2211 W. Walnut St., and would accommodate a fleet of what city officials will be a future need of 50 buses and 19 paratransit vehicles.
Construction is set to begin in early 2026.
At the May 29 meeting, city leaders, city project staffers and consultant staffers from HDR Inc., plan to be present to share details about the project and answer questions from attendees.
Attendees will be able to view the preliminary design and learn about the project timeline.
