A former bouncer at Cask ‘n Flagon has been found guilty of raping a woman in the Fenway bar’s bathroom.

A Suffolk County superior court jury on Wednesday convicted Dorchester man Michael Campbell, 32, of rape and indecent assault and battery in an incident when Campbell was working as a bouncer at the Cask.

At about 1:51 a.m. on Sept. 11, 2022, the victim knocked on the door of Cask ‘n Flagon to ask to use the bathroom.

Campbell let her in, although the bar was closed to customers and staffers were actively closing the restaurant.

Campbell walked the victim — who was unsteady on her feet, swaying, and focusing on her phone — into the men’s bathroom where he sexually assaulted her.

The jury began deliberations on Monday.

“These types of cases are always difficult, particularly for the victims who must relive traumatic experiences in order to give jurors a full account of what happened to them,” Suffolk DA Kevin Hayden said.

“The victim in this case showed great courage and composure on the stand and I thank her, the jurors and everyone who worked on this case for the verdict returned today,” Hayden added.

Campbell will be sentenced on June 23.
