DURHAM, N.C.>> Tyrese Proctor scored 15 points and No. 6 Duke bounced back from its first loss of the season with an 86-35 victory over Wofford on Saturday, when the Blue Devils allowed their fewest points since 1960.
Duke (3-1), which was coming off a 77-72 loss to No. 19 Kentucky in the Champions Classic, led by as many as 51 points in their most lopsided victory of the season.
Isaiah Evans contributed 14 points, Caleb Foster had 13 and Khaman Maluach added 11.
Duke opened a 39-point lead in the first half and held Wofford to 24.6% shooting for the game. The Terriers (1-3) went more than six minutes without scoring in the first half as the Blue Devils rolled into the break up 51-14.
No. 1 Kansas 78, Oakland 57>> AJ Storr had a season-high 16 points off the bench and three starters also reached double figures as No. 1 Kansas easily handled Oakland at home.
KJ Adams scored 10 of his 12 points in the first half, Rylan Griffen added 11 and Hunter Dickinson finished with 10. Dickinson led the Jayhawks with nine rebounds.
Kansas (4-0) pulled away methodically in the first half, leading by 22 at halftime. The Grizzlies never got closer than 18 in the second half. Kansas played the final 4:32 with only reserves in the game.
No. 14 Creighton 79, Kansas City 56>> Freshman Jackson McAndrew scored 15 points off the bench and Ryan Kalkbrenner had 14 points and 12 rebounds to lead No. 14 Creighton past Kansas City in Omaha, Neb.
Isaac Traudt scored 13 points, Steven Ashworth added 11 and Arizona State transfer Jamiya Neal had his first double-double for Creighton with 11 points and 11 rebounds.
McAndrew, Traudt and Ashworth each made three 3-pointers for the Bluejays (4-0), who have won their first four games by an average of 24.3 points..
No. 16 Indiana 87, South Carolina 71>> Myles Rice scored 17 of his 23 points in the first half and No. 16 Indiana defeated South Carolina in Bloomington, Ind.
Rice, a Washington State transfer, hit 7 of 10 shots including 3 of 4 from 3-point range and all six foul shots. The Hoosiers (3-0) were never seriously threatened in the second half, their smallest lead being eight points with 1:19 remaining.
Colorado State 85, Columbia College 28>> Freshman Khloe Froebe and senior Emma Ronsiek scored 15 points a piece and all 11 players recorded points as Colorado State dominated NAIA school Columbia College 85-28 on Saturday at Moby Arena.
Brooke Carlson contributed 11 points, three assists and three steals, and Hannah Simental added 10 points, three assists and two steals for the Rams, who led 43-13 at halftime.
Columbia College’s leading scorer, Mallory Shetley, had 10 points and two assists, and four rebounds.
No. 20 Kentucky 71, No. 18 Louisville 61, OT>> Georgia Amoore scored 19 points, Teonni Key added a career-high 17 and No. 20 Kentucky beat No. 18 Louisville 71-61 in overtime on Saturday night, snapping a seven-game losing streak in the series for its first win against the Cardinals since 2015.
Kentucky shot 7 of 13 from the field and outscored Louisville 13-3 in the extra period. Louisville’s Merissah Russell’s layup tied it 58-all with 26 seconds left in regulation. On the ensuing possession, Ja’Leah Williams blocked Amoore’s 3-point attempt at the buzzer to force overtime.
Amoore shot 7 of 17 from the field and made three 3s to go with nine assists. Key was 7-of-12 shooting and grabbed nine rebounds.
No. 21 Nebraska 113, South Dakota 70>> Britt Prince finished with 23 points, Natalie Potts scored 22 and 21st-ranked Nebraska cruised to a 113-70 victory over South Dakota in Sioux Falls.
Prince made 10 of 13 shots from the floor with two 3-pointers and added four assists for the Cornhuskers (4-0).
Potts buried 8 of 10 shots, including both of her 3-point attempts, and all four of her free throws. She grabbed seven rebounds.
Grace Larkins topped the Coyotes (0-4) with 28 points, six assists and five rebounds.
