Scotts Valley

Darene Rae Mazzoncini, peacefully passed away at her Scotts Valley home. Born June 6, 1936 in Fresno, CA, Darene was a dutiful wife and mother. She was a loving sister to three siblings: Denny, Ricky and Judy who all proceeded her in death. She was married three times.

Through her first husband Robert Dodson, Darene bore five children: Darrel, Deanne, Dannie, Denise and Devera. Dannie proceeded her in death. She married the love of her life, Dan Mazzoncini Sr. in 1989, until his death in 2012. Darene was a graduate of Roosevelt High School Class of 1955. She was the beloved Grandmother of fourteen Grandchildren and ten Great-Grandchildren.

She leaves behind her children, Son-in-Laws, Tracy and Terre, Daughter-in-Laws Bridgette and Linda and Niece, Kathy. She had an avid love for dancing, eclectic music, history and most of all, watching classic movies on TCM.

A lifelong Christian, Darene Mazzoncini returned to heaven on March 27, 2025.
