Passed away peacefully on Christmas Eve, 2024. A celebration of his life will be hosted summer 2025 by his many friends at the University Club in St. Paul. Danny was born on August 2, 1962, in Long Prairie to Kenneth and Karen (Zunker) Tesch. He graduated from Long Prairie High School in 1980, excelling in academics and band. Dan then attended St. Cloud State University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration. It was while studying abroad in England, at the Alnwick castle where he discovered his passion for European history and created friendships that lasted a lifetime.<br><br>Dan cherished his memories of meeting members of English royalty during his many trips to Windsor Castle, including one of his favorite moments when the Queen of England turned around in her pew to wink at him during a church service.<br><br>After college Dan began his career with the City of Lino Lakes where he was Assistant City Administrator and later the City Administrator for many years. After 27 years of service to the City of Lino Lakes, Dan transitioned into the private sector filling the role of Project Manager at Springstead (later Baker Tilly). In this position, he advised the public sector on policy development, human resource management, and recruiting and hiring.<br><br>Danny will be remembered by many as a generous host to extravagant dinner parties in his beloved Grand Avenue Condo, his passion for traveling and his love for his family and friends.<br><br>Daniel is survived by his mother Karen Tesch; brother David Tesch of Sartell; nephews Ryan Tesch and Trevor Tesch (Brenna); and niece Morgan Tesch. He is preceded in death by his sister Jennifer; and father Kenneth.<br><br>A celebration of Dan’s life will be held at the St. Paul University Club on May 4 from 4:30-6:30 pm.<div></div><br>
