Everyone knows the long drawn out process of buying a car. First, you have to find what you want, what you like, what you need, what looks good, what is in your budget, what is comfortable, what your neighbor doesn’t have, and lastly, what suites your families needs, but in Acura’s fleet, this puzzle is easily solved with the 2025 Acura RDX A-Spec AWD.
Wrapped in Urban Gray with a sporty Red interior, the RDX A-Spec shows out well with its attractive curvatures and aesthetics. Powered by a 2.0L direct injection VTEC 4-cylinder engine, the RDX produces272 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque and is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters. The RDX has plenty of power and has a nice exhaust sound.
But on the inside, the puzzle becomes easily solved. The RDX boasts a tremendous sporty interior, with its red seats and Alcantara finishes, while its comfort is what takes the cake. Acura is known for their interior comfort and they nailed it again. Similar to the MDX and Integra, the comfort of seats makes driving a real pleasure and ensures passengers are comfortable and happy. Standard on our RDX tester, was the tech package, A-Spec package, and a whole host of safety features with AcuraWatch.
Acura and parent company, Honda Motor Co. have done one heck of a job in keeping the long-lasting RDX appealing. It’s sporty, roomy, powerful, comfortable and affordable, making this puzzle easier than a Sudoku to solve and one that has the consumer market very excited to drive and buy. The RDX is also no secret to Grasso’s Garage, as I have been a past owner of one myself. Will we see an Acura RDX Type-S in the near future? That would align with other Acura fleet items and continue to live the Acura sportiness mantra so many have come to enjoy. Great work Acura, as usual!
