Josh Brolin opened up about his complicated relationship with his mother in his new memoir, “From Under the Truck,” where he shared something that wasn’t so motherly that she used to do.

The actor, known for playing the villain Thanos in the Marvel movies, sat down for an interview with The Times, published Saturday, to talk about his book.

Touching on his mother’s drinking, he said she would often take her two sons to bars, flirting with cowboys and truckers to persuade them to buy her drinks.

The Brolins kept rescued wild animals on their ranch: bobcats, cougars, coyotes, wolves and mountain lions. In what he described as an extremely traumatizing trick, she would often yell “Sic ’em” to whatever wild animal was close by to make the animal chase after her sons. The animals would usually take off, which would send the boys running.

“You knew if you didn’t get on the other side of that shut door within a couple of seconds, you’d be cleaning up fresh bloody marks somewhere on your body for the rest of the day,” Brolin wrote.

Online impostors prompt McEntire to warn fans

Reba McEntire is sounding the alarm on an apparent online scam targeting her social media followers.

The Grammy winner, 69, turned to Instagram to remind fans to be cautious when using the internet.

The issue is scammers have been using her name to extort money from fans via gift cards or electronic transfers in exchange for a promise to meet the star.

“I and my team will NEVER correspond with you from a direct message or cell phone number asking you for money in order to meet me,” the Sunday announcement said. “And do not give out any personal information, purchase gift cards or send money electronically to someone you do not know.”

Many fans retweeted the post.

Cher says her mother wanted bono locked up

Apparently, Cher’s mother didn’t approve of the age difference between the singer and her first husband, Sonny Bono.

During an interview on “CBS Sunday Morning” on Sunday, Cher opened up about her relationship with Bono, who was 11 years her senior when they started dating.

According to the singer, back in the early 1960s, she met Bono at a coffee shop and lied about her age.

“I lied to him a few times. I told him I was 18, and then someone said, ‘You know, I don’t think she’s 18.’ So I said, ‘OK, I’m not 18 but next month is my birthday’ which was true ‘and I’m going to be 18,’ ” Cher recalled. “He said OK, and then I was 17. And my mom told him she was going to put him in jail,” she said.
