Hunch Free is expanding its visual media services.

The digital marketing agency in Mount Clemens has acquired Mad Habit Creative, a video production and storytelling agency and plans to expand its space to include a multimedia studio featuring a video production space and dedicated podcast room.

“Bringing Mad Habit Creative in the Hunch Free family significantly elevates our creative capacity,” Jimmy Gwizdala, owner of Hunch Free, said in a news release announcing the new acquisition.

“Their storytelling expertise complements our existing strengths,” added Gwizdala, whose company is known for its ability to leverage data, technology and creativity to help organizations overcome challenges and grow smarter.

By acquiring Mad Habit Creative and establishing it as the agency’s dedicated production arm, Hunch Free will be able to enhance its content creation capabilities to include video production, photography and drone media.

“As our professional commitments expanded, we recognized the need to place Mad Habit Creative in capable hands to maintain and grow the high standard we had established,” said Tom Hehrer, co-founder of the company whose earned recognition across the county for its innovative approach to storytelling helps companies and organizations define, sharpen and community their message through videos, websites, marketing materials and captivating live event experiences. “We are confident that Hunch Free will continue to honor and build upon the partnerships we’ve developed over the years.”

Mad Habit Creative co-founder Tom Nahas will be staying on at Mad Had Creative to lead client engagements and oversee project execution.

“I’m excited to lead the video division alongside Jimmy and the team, continuing the powerful storytelling that Tom Lehrer and I were known for now under the Hunch Free brand,” said Nahas.

Founded in 2008, Hunch Free combines creativity and analytics to come up with impactful campaigns across web, video, branding and digital platforms.
