AGGRAVATED BATTERY: Marilyn A. Islas, 62, Beecher, is scheduled to appear in Will County court July 7, charged with aggravated battery to a child younger than 13 on June 11, according to court records online.

Burbank

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT: An individual severing security cords on 12 boxes of perfume collectively selling for $1,064 May 24 at a department store in the Burbank Town Center brandished a pair of wire cutters at an employee who interrupted him before departing with the unpurchased merchandise, police said.

AMMO POSSESSION: Nassan F. Nassan, 24, 8000 block of Oconto Avenue, Burbank, was arrested and accused of unlawful use of ammunition after officers recovered a .22 caliber bullet during a June 2 stop in the 8600 block of Long Avenue and determined he lacked state permits, police said.

Crete

AGGRAVATED DUI: Scott G. Herrera, 40, 2400 block of 222nd Place, Sauk Village, is scheduled to appear in Will County court July 9, charged with aggravated drunken driving/third arrest, driving on a revoked/suspended license and criminally damaging property, according to court records online. Herrera, arrested Feb. 18 in Crete, was arraigned June 11, court records show.

Lansing

BATTERY: Jesse L. Summers, 26, Chicago, was arrested May 11 and accused of battery and domestic battery after punching a security officer responding to a domestic abuse complaint at a motel in the 17300 block of Oak Avenue, police said.

Oak Lawn

GUN POSSESSION: Michael A. Thomas, 40, Aurora, was charged with aggravated unlawful possession of a weapon after officers recovered a loaded .22 caliber handgun and loaded magazine May 30 in the 9200 block of Cicero Avenue and determined he lacked state gun permits, police said.

AGGRAVATED DUI: Elizabet A. Gayton, 28, 2300 block of Canal Street, Blue Island, was charged with aggravated drunken driving/license suspended following a June 1 investigation of a driver asleep at the wheel in the 10500 block of Massasoit Avenue, police said.

Orland Park

VIOLENT OFFENDER: Darelle Davis, 44, Kankakee, was charged with failing to register as a violent offender May 30 in the 15000 block of La Grange Road after officers determined he didn’t renew his registration in February, police said. Davis, also known as Darrell, was convicted in Kankakee County of aggravated battery to a 15-year-old when he was 37, according to Illinois State Police records online.

Palos Heights

AGGRAVATED DUI: Ryan N. Tran, 28, Aurora, was arrested and accused of aggravated drunken driving and driving on a suspended license during a Jan. 7 a crash investigation in the 12300 block of Harlem Avenue, police said.

TRAIN STATION DAMAGE: Tylan Hale, 21, Chicago, was arrested June 11 and accused of criminally damaging property after shattering Metra station windows with rocks, police said.

Palos Hills

BUSINESS BURGLARIES: Cash registers, money and merchandise were discovered taken June 10 from nine businesses located in clusters of three, police said. Investigators determined five masked and gloved individuals used a stolen car for transportation and smashed windows to make entry near 95th Street and 88th Avenue, 103rd Street and 72nd Avenue, and 104th Street and Harlem Avenue, police said.

ARSON ARREST: Daiquon L. Reese, 22, Blue Island, was arrested June 12 and accused of arson in connection with a burning vehicle parked in the 11100 block of Moraine Drive, police said.

Park Forest

AGGRAVATED DUI: Cornelius L. Edwards, 39, Chicago, was charged with aggravated drunken driving, driving on a suspended license and illegally transporting alcohol May 21, following an officer contact outside a convenience store in the 400 block of Sauk Trail, police said.

DRUGGED CRASH: A Matteson man suspected of driving while on “crack” cocaine collided with an electrical transformer box near the intersection of 26th and Ash streets while fleeing a May 22 shoplifting investigation, police said. Ricky L. Hudson Sr., 67, first block of Deerpath Road, Matteson, was charged with felony retail theft, aggravated fleeing/eluding, driving under the influence of drugs, driving without proof of insurance and speeding after taking three shopping carts filled with merchandise from a store in the first block of Main Street, disregarding several attempted investigative stops and resisting officers after crashing, police said.

Steger

DUI CRASH: Destiny Y. Minor, 28, Chicago, was arrested and accused of drunken driving, driving without a license, failing to reduce speed to avoid a collision, improper lane use and failing to provide proof of insurance during a June 6 crash investigation in the 3200 block of Chicago Road, police said.

GUN POSSESSION: Lesean Richardson, 27, 3500 block of John Street, Steger, was charged June 8 with unlawful possession of a weapon and unlawful possession of ammunition after officers recovered a loaded 12-gauge shotgun and shotgun shells in the home and determined he lacked a gun permit, police said.

Thornton

CARJACKING ARREST: Pierre C. Brown-Graham, 29, Chicago, was charged with aggravated vehicular hijacking, discharge of a firearm and aggravated battery with discharge of a firearm, police said. Brown-Graham shot the driver’s finger while taking her car, which was stopped June 14 at Margaret Street and the CN rail crossing for a train, police said. Joliet police located the car and took Brown-Graham into custody at a hotel, police said.
