Sally Ann Turold, 91, passed away peacefully on April 25, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on February 8, 1934, in Yolo, to Herman and Melba Richter, Sally dedicated her life to creating a warm and nurturing home for her husband, Jack, and their 6 children. Sally's greatest joy came from spending time with her family and the large family gatherings around the holidays. Her family enjoyed her homemade meals--especially her tacos, beef stew and chili beans. Sally's green thumb was evidenced by her bountiful garden of tomatoes and butternut squash--always shared with family and neighbors.<br><br>Sally is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Edward Turold, and her son, Steven Michael Turold; sisters, Jean Jones, Selma Watts, Jessie Findley and Doris Bourn; brothers-in-law William Lee Findley, Leon Jones and Tommy Bourn. Sally is survived by her five children and daughters-in-law, Cooki Turold, Eric (Toni) Turold, Michael Turold, Susan Turold, James Turold and Kimberly Turold; brother, Bill (Janice) Richter; grandchildren Brandon Turold, Paige Steinberg, Dani Mogensen and Alisha Yonan; and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.<br><br>Graveside services are scheduled for Friday, May 30, at 10am, at Monument Hill Memorial Park, 35036 County Rd 22, Woodland, Ca 95695.<br><br>Reception to follow at Woodland Elk's Lodge, 500 Bush St, Woodland, Ca 95695 In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to a charity of your choosing in memory of Sally Turold.<br><div><br></div>
