The Princess of Wales said Tuesday that her cancer is in remission after she spent the day supporting other cancer patients at the hospital where she received treatment.

In a statement on social media, she offered her thanks to everyone who helped her and her husband, Prince William, as they navigated the ups and downs of treatment and recovery. Earlier, the princess, usually known simply as Kate, hugged patients at the Royal Marsden Hospital in London and described her own treatment as “exceptional.”

“It is a relief to now be in remission and I remain focused on recovery,” the princess, 43, wrote in a note signed with her initial, C. “As anyone who has experienced a cancer diagnosis will know, it takes time to adjust to a new normal.”

Red Rocker about to put the brakes on touring

He’d just played a sound check before a set at a new Las Vegas rock club and is mentally mapping a nine-show spree this spring on the Strip. He also wrapped a 33-date world tour in August.

There is no denying that Sammy Hagar is a rock ’n’ roll marvel. But you wonder how long the 77-year-old Red Rocker can keep such an accelerated pace.

“I don’t think I want to go on tour anymore. I hate to say that, because I don’t want to (tick) my fans off,” Hagar said.

“I’ll go out and do a one-off show and do things like that, but the residency is going to give me a good extension of my career. That’s what I’m hoping for.”

‘View’ Star Hostin responds after husband is sued

Sunny Hostin has broken her silence just a week after her husband, Dr. Emmanuel Hostin, was named in what has been called “a major RICO case” by multiple media outlets. Emmanuel Hostin is among nearly 200 defendants named in a federal lawsuit. Emmanuel Hostin, who operates Hostin Orthopaedics Sports Medicine, is reportedly accused of knowingly providing “fraudulent medical and other healthcare services ... and then fraudulently billing the insurance company American Transit through each of those entities in exchange for kickbacks and/or other compensation which were disguised as dividends or other cash distribution.”

Sunny Hostin clapped back at the accusations in a statement issued to Entertainment Weekly.

“Our family will not be intimidated and harassed,” Hostin said. “We remain unbowed. We have put American Transit on notice and will file a five-million-dollar counter lawsuit for their defamatory claims, an amount that is likely to increase as the reputational damage that American Transit has intentionally caused is difficult to quantify at this time.”
