Peter James Doyle passed away peacefully on May 12, 2025, with his family by his side. Born to Bernard J. Doyle and Margaret L. Doyle in Akron, Ohio, and raised in Marin County, California, Peterlived alife of service to his country, community, faith, and family.

He proudly served in the U.S. Navy before continuing his service as apolice officer inLarkspur and Marina, California, until his retirement. Aman of deep faith, Peter was a devoted parishioner at St. Rita Church in Fairfax and was deeply involved in the Cur- sillo movement where he formed many lasting and meaningful friendships.

Affectionately known as "Pop," Peter issurvived by his daughters, Michele McGuinness (Seamus) and Veronica Persky (Michael); and his cherished grandchildren, Justin and Keelin McGuinness, Joe and Tim Pontes, and Julia and Bryce Persky. Heisalso survived by his brothers, Frank Doyle and Mike Doyle (Kathy), and his sister-in-law, Francine O’Keefe Doyle. Peter was abeloved uncle to Christian Gallardo (Sylwia), Shawna Sturdevant (Paul), Katy Doyle, Frank Doyle (Brianna), Joe Doyle (Sophie), and David Doyle. He leaves behind many beloved extended family members and lifelong friends who held a special place in his heart.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, June 2, at 11:00 AM at St. Rita Church, where family and friends will gather to honor his life and legacy. A reception will follow immediately afterward.

Peter will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
