Eric Dailey Jr. scored 18 points, making four 3-pointers, and No. 22 UCLA edged 14th-ranked Gonzaga on Saturday in the first college basketball game played at Intuit Dome, the new home of the NBA’s Los Angeles Clippers.

Ryan Nembhard’s basket gave Gonzaga a 60-58 lead with 56 seconds left before the Bruins (11-2) scored five points in a row. Sebastian Mack converted a three-point play with 33 seconds remaining to put UCLA ahead, and Skyy Clark hit two free throws 20 seconds later to put the game out of reach.

Graham Ike led the Bulldogs (9-4) with 24 points and eight rebounds.

Memphis 87, Ole Miss 70 >> Colby Rogers scored 28 points and Moussa Cisse had 13 points, 11 rebounds and three blocks as Memphis upset No. 16 MIssissippi.

PJ Haggerty finished with 17 points as Memphis (10-3) won for the third time in four games.

Sean Pedulla led Ole Miss (11-2) with 13 points and four assists. Jaylen Murray scored 12 and Malik Dia 11 as the Rebels had their five-game winning streak halted.

texas A&M 92, Abilene Christian 54 >> Wade Taylor IV had 15 points and a career-high 10 assists, and Zhuric Phelps had 12 points and 10 rebounds in No. 13 Texas A&M’s win over Abilene Christian.

Taylor returned to action after he missed his first career game on Dec. 20 against Houston Christian.

The Aggies (11-2) opened the game on a 7-0 run and never looked back. Texas A&M led 48-29 at halftime and ended the game on a 12-0 run over the final 5:24.

Quion Williams led Abilene Christian (8-6) with 14 points.

UTAH State 67, san diego state 66 >> Utah State overcame a 43-32 halftime deficit to upset No. 20 San Diego State in San Diego.

Ian Martinez led all scorers with 17 points as the Aggies (12-1) surged past the host Aztecs (8-3) with 35 second-half points.

Mason Falslev scored 16 points, with Deyton Albury logging 11 points for Utah State in the one-point victory.

Miles Byrd and Nick Boyd scored 14 points apiece to pace the San Diego State offense in the defeat.

Maryland 81, UMES 66 >> Julian Reese had 23 points and 11 rebounds, Derik Queen also had a double-double, and Maryland defeated Maryland Eastern Shore.

Maryland finished its nonconference schedule with an 11-2 record. The Terrapins have won 23 straight nonconference home games.

Queen had 18 points and 14 rebounds and Selton Miguel scored 10 for Maryland. Ja’Kobi Gillespie had nine points and nine assists.

Women’s Basketball

Texas A&M 77, Houston Christian 45 >> Clara Strack scored 21 points and grabbed 12 rebounds, Georgia Amoore also scored 21 and No. 16 Kentucky closed its nonconference schedule with a win over Western Kentucky.

The Wildcats (11-1) outscored the Hilltoppers (9-3) 49-35 in the middle quarters to gain control. Saniah Tyler had all 11 of her points in that time and Teonni Key scored 10 of her 15. Strack also had 10.

Amoore finished with nine assists and Amelia Hassett had 12 rebounds to go with nine points.

Alexis Mead scored 18 points for Western Kentucky. The Lady Hilltoppers went 18 of 23 from the foul line, scoring 10 more points than Kentucky.

Kentucky leads the instate series 16-14 but had lost the last two, played in 2007 and 2008.

Indiana 83, wisconsin 52 >> Lily Meister led all scorers with 20 points to lead Indiana past Wisconsin in Bloomington, Ind. to take over first place in the Big Ten.

The Hoosiers (10-3, 2-0 Big Ten) took control of the game by outsoring the visiting Badgers (10-3, 1-1 Big Ten) 21-6 in the second quarter.

Four of five Indiana starters recorded double digits in scoring, including Yarden Garzon, who scored 13 points in the win.

Serah Williams and Carter McCray were the only Badgers to hit the doble-digit mark, with 13 and 10 points, respectively.

Illinois 64, oregon 59 >> Illinois rode a 21-11 opening quarter to victory against Big Ten newcomers Oregon.

Genesis Bryant led all scorers with 23 points for the Illini (11-2, 1-1 Big Ten). Gretchen Dolan contributed 13 points in a reserve role. Kendall Bostic and Adalia McKenzie chipped in 10 points apiece in the winning cause.

Deja Kelly led the Ducks (9-4, 0-2 Big Ten) with 17 points off the bench. Deja Kelly also scored 14 points.

st. thomas 81, Eastern michigan 65 >> Amber Scalia and Jade Hill scored 21 and 20 points, respectively, to lead St. Thomas to victory at Eastern Michigan.

Jo Langbehn added 18 points as the Tommies cruised to the 16-point win in Ypsilanti, Mich.

St. Thomas led throughout, taking a 44-30 lead into the halftime locker room before holding its hosts at arm’s length over the final two quarters.

The Tommies improved to 8-5 overall, the Eagles fell to 1-9 on the season.
