For the past couple of days, we’ve presented readers with 50 fun facts about the Grand Prix of Long Beach in honor of the iconic race’s 50th anniversary.
On Sunday, we presented the first 15 facts. On Monday, we gave you facts Nos. 16 to 20 — with another five on Tuesday.
Now, it’s time for Nos. 26 to 30.
The Grand Prix of Long Beach has had five name changes since 1975.
The Grand Prix has never been rained out. While there may have been instances of light rain or overcast conditions on race weekend, it has always gone ahead as planned.
The 2025 edition of the Grand Prix will have five more laps than usual this year.
