YOUNCE, HELEN J. of Waterford; Went home to be with the Lord on February 21, 2025; age 95; Loving wife of the late J. Richard “Dick” Younce; Beloved mother of Susan (the late Michael) Charron, Julie (the late John) Sacrenty, Rick (Cynthia) Younce and the late Ann Marie Younce; Daughter of the late Edwin and Mable Hood; Cherished grandmother of Andrew, Aubrey, Elizabeth, Emily, Nathaniel, Esther, Lauren, Caitlin, and James; Great-grandmother of Alizabeth, Autum, Elisabeth, Alexander, James, Vivian and Julia; Preceded in death by her siblings Murray Hood, Doris Spangler and Pastor Terry Walker. Sister in law of Alta Walker; Mrs. Younce was a founding member of the former Sunny Vale Chapel and was a member of the former Shepherd Fellowship and Grace Church. She had many, many friends of all ages. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 21, 2025 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Riverside Chapel, Simpson-Modetz Funeral Home, 5630 Pontiac Lake Road, Waterford. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 22nd at 11 a.m. at Grace Church, 220 Bogie Lake Road, White Lake. Memorials may be made to Grace Centers of Hope.
