SANTA CRUZ >> The city of Santa Cruz will hold an online community meeting from 6 to 7:30 p.m. March 10 to outline and discuss a proposal to construct nearly 100 new townhomes on the 400 block of Meder Street in the city.
The proposed project would demolish a residential dwelling unit and combine two lots into one to make way for 97 townhouse dwelling units. According to the project plans, the townhouses would be spread out between 18 three-story buildings on the two lots.
According to the project’s associated webpage, a community meeting is required pursuant to the city of Santa Cruz’s community outreach policy for planning projects, and the feedback provided may contribute to alterations in the project design and additional project entitlements.
