Alison Aldrich of Placentia, CA passed away on December 9th, 2024, at the age of 69.
She was born in Long Beach, CA to Jean Arnett Aldrich and Milton Taylor Aldrich. A proud California native, she lived in Long Beach, Anaheim and finally in Placentia, CA.
She graduated from Millikan High School in Long Beach in 1973. Then Cal State, Long Beach with a bachelor's degree in finance, and went on to get her MBA in International Finance from West Coast University. She spent her career excelling in finance and accounting positions until retiring in 2018. Her favorite job was with Rockwell International working on the Space Shuttle program.
Alison also put her knowledge to use helping her community. She volunteered as treasurer for both the Financial Women's Alliance of Orange County, and for her nonprofit the Anaheim Feral Cat Project. Her love of animals was passionate, and she worked countless hours fostering, feeding and caring for her beloved cats.
She was a very happy person who was loved by her friends and family.
Alison was extremely proud of her four cats, TayTay, Blu, CoCo and Cali.
Alison is preceded in death by her parents and survived by her loving brother Charles Milton Aldrich and his husband Carlos Castaneda.
Alison was laid to rest on January 15th, 2024, at Forest Lawn, Cypress surrounded by her closest friends.
