Louisville to conduct candidate interviews for vacant Ward 3 seat

Louisville City Council will meet at 5 p.m. Tuesday at City Hall in the Spruce Room, 749 Main St., for a special meeting to interview seven candidates for the vacant Ward 3 seat left after the appointment of Dennis Maloney as mayor. Broomfield City Council executive session, study session on tap

The Broomfield City Council will hold an executive session, 6 p.m. Tuesday, at the George Di Ciero City and County Building, Council Chambers, 1 DesCombes Drive, Broomfield, to discuss personnel matters regarding the city manager. A study session will follow focusing on session planning. Participants may watch online at broomfield.org/live for the YouTube feed or on Comcast Channel 8.

BVSD hosting Spanish language BVSD Connect

The Boulder Valley School District invites families to a Spanish language session of BVSD Connect at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Escuela Bilingüe Pioneer, 101 E Baseline Road, Lafayette. The community engagement session will include a presentation and conversation with school district leadership.

Buffs hoops

While the University of Colorado men’s basketball team has not had a lot of success on the road this season, the Buffaloes sure have been cooking at home where they are 9-2 so far. Tad Boyle’s team has a pair of winnable games Thursday (hosting Cal, 8 p.m.) and Sunday (hosting Stanford, 5 p.m.) as they try and build up toward the end of the regular season.
