MacArthur Park is set to become a hot spot for live entertainment again this summer with the return of the Levitt Pavilion Los Angeles musical series.
Now in its 16th year, the free series of music features 32 weekend concerts in the northwest corner of the 140- year-old park nestled in this Westlake neighborhood.
“We’re excited to uplift and reflect the diversity of Los Angeles and all the various cultures that call L.A. home,” said Allegra Padilla, executive director of Levitt LA.
The series will highlight several genres of music from cumbia and salsa to rock and jazz and hip-hop and soul and will take place at 7-10 p.m. on Fridays-Saturdays and 5-8 p.m. Sundays starting Saturday through Sept. 3 (some hours may vary).
