Castroville

Dolores Bei Tottino was born in Santa Cruz on November 18th, 1929. She spent the next 95 years on the Central Coast. She attended Gault Elementary School and went on to Holy Cross High School where she graduated in 1947. She then began her career at Birds Eye Frozen Foods on their accounting team at Santa Cruz and Ontario locations.

Dolores met the love of her life, Hugo Tottino from Castroville, in 1949. They were married on May 27th, 1951, and made their home in Castroville. Dolores and Hugo raised five children in their beloved town, Michele (David), Les (Cathy), Karen, Cathy (Tony) and David. They were proud grandparents of nine; Amy (David), Brian (Amanda), Katie, Jeff, Kevin (Vanessa), Sarah (Andrew), Lisa, Glen (Molly) and Mary and great-grandparents to Lyla, Brady, Annabelle, Cameron, Lio, Spencer, Emilia and Lucy. Dolores is preceded in death by her father Luigi Bei, mother Attilia Calzuola Bei, sister Esther Bei, brother Norman Bei, husband Hugo Tottino and son Les Tottino.

Dolores was a proud wife, mother, grandmother and member of Castroville’s community. She loved to bake, play golf and work in her yard. The family greatly appreciates the loving, kind care given by Amor Dodds, Eunice Mata, Medelin Alainz and Leonica Batham. Dolores was well cared for and extremely loved.

Visitation will be held 3-5PM and Rosary will be held at 5PM, Monday, December 16th, 2024, at Struve and Laporte Chapel, 41 W. San Luis Street, Salinas, CA 93901.

Funeral Mass will beheld 11:30AM, Tuesday December 17th, 2024, at Our Lady of Refuge Catholic Church, 11140 Preston Street, Castroville, CA 95012.

Burial to follow at Castroville District Cemetery, 8442 Moss Landing Road, Moss Landing, CA 95039.
