Third time will be the charm when it comes to smelling the roses in the days after the 2025 Rose Parade.
Pasadena’s Tournament of Roses added a third day to the in-person Rose float showcase, organizers announced on Tuesday.
Floatfest: A Rose Parade Showcase will run form Jan. 1 to Jan. 3, picking up a third day when fans can get an up-close look at the floats, fresh from their 5.5-mile journey along Colorado Boulevard for the Rose Parade.
Over the years the event has evolved into quite the destination, including entertainment, food trucks, a video wall, a beer and wine garden and full-service bar.
The event is near the end of the route, at Sierra Madre and Washington boulevards, in Pasadena.Tickets are $25 (free for children 5 and younger.) They are available online at sharpseating.com.
Shuttles from two Pasadena locations are included with the purchase of Floatfest tickets. A word of caution: Street parking near the event is extremely limited.
On the day off, ticket sales are:
• Jan. 1: 1:30 p.m. — 5 p.m. (ticket sales end at 3:30 p.m., last entry at 4 p.m.).
• Jan. 2: 7 — 9 a.m. (reserved for seniors and people with mobility disabilities).
• Jan. 2: 9 a.m. — 5 p.m. (ticket sales end at 3:30 p.m., last entry at 4 p.m.).
• Jan. 3, 2025: 9 a.m. — 4 p.m. (ticket sales end at 2:30 p.m., last entry at 3 p.m.).
