MENTOR Minnesota recruits caring adults to help introduce a child to new ideas and opportunities through mentoring. Here’s one of the kids who could use a mentor’s help.

First name: Zeek

Age: 12

Interests: Zeek likes basketball, video games, soccer, bikes, sledding. His favorite color is green. He also really likes anime and ramen noodles! He likes math, social studies and science experiments.

Personality/Characteristics: Zeek has a small speech impediment. Mom describes him as very interested in math and science and he likes to build and construct. He is a gamer and a talkative middle schooler!

Goals/dreams: Mom is seeking a mentor for Zeek: “I am a single parent and I don’t have all the answers to help my children in all the different areas of life. I want to find Zeek someone who will give him time and attention and help him grow and find his calling.” He describes himself as amazing, interesting, respectful and smart! When he grows up he wants to be an architect or some career in math and science! His three wishes are to: 1) Have 1 Million robux (gaming credits); 2) Everyone to be happy; 3) Travel to Japan as he likes the food, culture and anime from there.
