MENTOR Minnesota recruits caring adults to help introduce a child to new ideas and opportunities through mentoring. Here’s one of the kids who could use a mentor’s help.

First name: Aaron

Age: 6

Interests: Aaron loves all things sports and being active. He also likes drawing and playing with his Dragon Ball Z or Beyblade toys the most.

Personality/Characteristics: Aaron is more on the introverted side. He can be shy, moody, as he’s learning to better express his feelings and emotions. He can also be very fun, loving, funny; he is really active. He carries a ton of energy being that he is the only boy in the family. He can be very helpful and respectful. When he finds someone he can relate to or connect with, he is all in.

Goals/dreams: His parent notes that “having a mentor would benefit him because he would be able to gain that one-on-one time with someone that is just for him. He will be able to have his needs met and be able to express himself. He does not have brothers, nor a consistent visitation schedule with his dad.”

When he grows up he wants to be a boxer! His three wishes would be to: 1) Play football 2) Have all the Dragonball Z 3) Have a real-life-sized Beyblade arena.
