Pete Quatrochi, 82, passed away on December 9th, 2024 at Juniper Memory Care in Louisville,. CO. Pete was born June 26,1942 to Ida & Mike Quatrochi in Kansas City, MO. He was a proud 1960 graduate of North Kansas City High School, where he played Football, Baseball and Wrestling.
Pete played both Center and Linebacker for the University of Kansas Football Teams of '60-63. Pete was selected to UPI 1963 All Big 8 Conference Team and was voted as Co-Captain of the 1963 Team by his Teammates.
After graduating from KU Business School, Pete joined the United States Air Force, graduating from their Officer Training School and earning his wings as a USAF Pilot, serving in the Viet Nam Theatre as a B-52 Pilot.
Following 8 years in the Air Force, Pete put his Business Degree to work in establishing 2 successful Businesses in the Recreational Vehicle and Mobile Home fields. His sons carry on his Legacy by continuing to run the Family Business.
In 1965, Pete was married to Dian Upton Quatrochi at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Wichita, KS.
Their 1st child, Kristine was born & died on Dec. 9th, 1968, while Pete was in Viet Nam. Pete is survived by his wife of 60 years and their Son Philip (Ali Walton) Children Cooper & Macy and Son, Nick (Danielle Johnson) and their daughters' Lyla, Nora and Mia.
Pete is also survived by his Sisters Rosemary Mathis (Ron) of Valdosta, GA, Saletta Shuman (Pat), and Brother Nick Quatrochi (Mary) of Kansas City, MO plus numerous Nieces & Nephews and Great Nieces and Nephews.
