The Yeastie Boys keep fighting for your right to eat bagels as the company rolls out its latest truck and parks it in Manhattan Beach indefinitely.
Yeastie Boys Bagels, which offers hand-rolled examples, will land at its new location, in front of 1300 Highland Ave., starting at 8 a.m. today. The truck will be there from 8 a.m.- 2 p.m. daily or until bagels run out.
Started in Los Angeles by New York-trained baker Evan Fox, the food truck offers classic New York bagels and original creations. The business has collaborated with chains like Pizza Hut and Taco Bell.
Manhattan Beach customers can expect bagels like The Mishka, with roasted bell pepper, tomato, sprouts and schmear, and the Lox Deluxe, with smoked salmon, capers and scallion schmear. Also on the menu is The Diss Track, made with pit-smoked pastrami, folded scrambled egg, melted American cheese and Schmutz Sauce on an everything bagel.
Yeastie Boys has locations in downtown Los Angeles, Silver Lake, Studio City and other spots. For info go to yeastieboysbagels.com.
