Rutherford, 6-6 forward, was taken 20th overall. The San Diego native played collegiately at UC Irvine (2016-20). He also played for Neptunas Klaipeda of the Lithuanian Basketball League. He won the 2023 Dutch League championship with ZZ Leiden, and was named Finals MVP.

Eke, a 6-8 American-Nigerian forward, was chosen in the second round, No. 43 overall. He last played for the Rivers Hoopers of the Basketball Africa League. He played collegiately at Radford University in 2019-20 as a graduate transfer after playing three seasons at Rider (2016-19).

Westchester had the top two picks and selected 6-6 forward Matt Ryan, who played for the New Orleans Pelicans last season, and 6-4 guard Landry Shamet, a six-year NBA veteran. Cleveland chose 6-3 guard Sean East II with the No. 3 pick.

In the second round, Kavion Pippen, a nephew of NBA great Scottie Pippen, was taken by Maine, and DJ Rodman and Jayden Hardaway went to Capital City.
