With Pence and congressionalleaders getting vaccinated, Trump must think he has EXECUTIVE PRIVILEGE and doesn’t have to.
If the COVID-19 vaccine is socialism, count me in.
To the person complainingabout the “diversity” of Biden’s appointments, I’m happy that qualified people from a variety of backgrounds are replacing Trump’s crew of unqualified and/or self-serving lackeys. Do you know what else is made up of talented people from a variety of backgrounds? America!
Maybe now is the timefor VP Pence to invoke the 25th Amendment. He could be seen as being strong by stepping up in defense of Democracy, rather than a coward by running off to the Middle East. Trump thinks he’s a traitor anyway because he is not defending him.
It is amazing there are people who still believe the virus is a Democratic hoax. This is flies in the face of reality and is proof some Trump supporters have the mentality of someone in a cult. I know many people who have had the virus and some who have died. How can we expect everyone to wear a mask if they don’t think this is real? The only way to proceed toward a solution is for Trump to admit the virus is real and encourage everyone to wear a mask by example. Every member of Congress should insist on it and pressure him to do the right thing.
We have heard convincing arguments related to why youngsters should be in the classrooms rather than using virtual methods. The strongest arguments center around the loss of skill building, especially at the earlier grades, and the loss of social skills. With the vaccine, there appears to be a flicker of light at the end of the tunnel. There is a chance that by summer, schools should be able to offer extended or expanded learning activities for our youngsters. The questions are where will those same “We need our kids in school” voices be, and where will schools find funding? I suspect the voices will be at the beach and the funding directed towards more studies related to roundabouts! Learning deficits should not be tolerated. Our kids deserve whatever it takes to make up for lost or delayed development, even if it means a little less time in the water!
It’s amazing howwhen faced with a libel suit Fox News and Newsmax retracted their lie about the voting machines. There should be more libel suits to get these supposed news sources to tell the truth. The next person that should be sued is Tucker Carlson for calling Dr. Jill Biden a partial illiterate. He can only wish he was as educated as her. His degree is a bachelor of arts degree in history.
Does anyone else find it amusing that the Republicans think it’s OK for the President to keep filing lawsuits, but want to make sure the public can’t sue over COVID-19?
Everybody in the whole worldis certain that it was Russia that hacked us, but thank the Lord that we have Donald J. Trump here to set us straight, telling us that it definitely was not Russia — maybe China — no doubt because his buddy Vladimir said he didn’t do it. By the way, have you noticed that the Incredibly Stable Genius seems to be even more unstable every day? He’s getting’ mighty desperate — looking at martial law now.
The people of Kentuckyare suffering from unemployment, food shortages, illness, and poverty more than almost any other state, and yet they returned Mitch McConnell, who has stalled and dithered on stimulus relief, to another six-year term in the Senate by a margin of more than 400,000 votes. You can’t cure stupidity.
Breaking News: Republicans havefinally found a person who tried to commit voter fraud. He is Bruce Bartman — a Republican! Bruce made an effort to register and cast a vote for his deceased mother. He also tried to register his dead mother-in-law. Bartman has been charged with voter fraud. I wonder if Mr. Bartman will try to retain Giuliani as his attorney?
One theory about why people back Trump is that they want to keep America white.Think about everything that Trump has done — starting with the wall — to keep his followers happy.
Hunter Biden should useTrump’s tactics. Just say his taxes are under audit. Republicans won’t say a word because they haven’t said anything about Trump’s taxes. What’s good for the goose is good for the gander.
The next stimulus will be $50 in Kohl’s cash redeemable February 29-30.
I see in the Quicklycolumn that all of you TDS sufferers are experiencing withdrawal symptoms now that the President has reduced his number of tweets and had gotten rather quiet. Yeah, he’s almost as quiet at Biden and Harris were during the campaign, hiding in a basement or behind the sycophantic press coverage.
Hey, what’s going on, Post-Trib? I am a long-time, loyal subscriber whose favorites are Quickly, Jerry Davich and the TV listings. Long ago, you cut the TV listings down from All Day to Evenings Only. The TV listings have been missing for the last two days. What the heck?! Please return them ASAP!
The voters of Alabama have elected former Auburn football coach and arch conservative Tommy Tuberville to the U.S. Senate, and already he is encouraging Donald Trump’s worst behavior, and promising to derail congressional approval of the November 3rd election result. This is the Tommy Tuberville who, during the campaign, could not even name the three branches of the federal government. Thanks, people of Alabama, for saddling the rest of us with this flaming ignoramus.
If you’re so worriedabout people not wearing masks, what the hell were you doing at an anti-mask rally in Valpo? Another educated idiot in Quickly with a science degree — great — and the hopes that the whole world reads Quickly.
Trump has now liedmore than 30,000 times. He won’t run in 2024. It’s a lie yet his supporters continue to donate money. These people refuse to accept reality. This is an exact definition of a cult member.
Well, it is official. The Postmaster General appointed by Trump has bungled mail package delivery this Christmas season. For the first time, packages will not be delivered on a timely basis and will effect an already sad and unusual Christmas season. Thanks for nothing.
