



Dug McDaniel scored 20 points as Kansas State upset No. 3 Iowa State 80-61 on Saturday, ending the Cyclones’ 29-game home winning streak.
It’s back-to-back losses for the Cyclones, who fell in overtime 86-75 at unranked Arizona on Monday night.
Kansas State (10-11, 4-6 Big 12) ended a 15-game road losing streak. The Wildcats have won their last three games overall, also beating then-No. 23 West Virginia and Oklahoma State.
Coleman Hawkins added 17 points for Kansas State.
Iowa State (17-4, 7-3) tied a season high with 18 turnovers, as it’s gone back-to-back games with this amount of turnovers.
Tamin Lipsey scored 20 points for the Cyclones.
NO. 8 TENNESSEE 64, NO. 5 FLORIDA 44: Chaz Lanier scored 19 points to lead the short-handed Volunteers over the visiting Gators.
Tennessee (18-4, 5-4 SEC) was playing without starters Zakai Zeigler (knee) and Igor Milicic Jr. (illness).
Jordan Gainey scored 16. Felix Okpara had 10 points and eight rebounds.
Walter Clayton Jr. scored 10 for Florida (18-3, 5-3) in the first half before injuring his left ankle. He reinjured it in the second half. The Gators shot 6 of 26 in the second half.
NO. 22 TEXAS TECH 82, NO. 6 HOUSTON 81 (OT): Chance McMillian had 23 points, including two free throws with 16 seconds left in overtime, as the visiting Red Raiders (17-4, 8-2 Big 12) won their sixth straight.
L.J. Cryer scored 22 for Houston (17-4, 9-1), which had won 13 in a row and suffered its first loss at home since Jan. 22, 2023, against Temple, a 33-game streak.
Darrion Williams hit a 3-pointer to tie it at 72 with 30 seconds left in regulation. Houston’s J’Wan Roberts took a shot at the buzzer but it was blocked by Federiko Federiko.
NO. 1 AUBURN 92, NO. 23 MISSISSIPPI 82: Johni Broome had 20 points and 12 rebounds and the Tigers extended their winning streak to 13 games with a home win over the Rebels.
Chad Baker-Mazara scored 18 points for Auburn, which shot 14 for 28 from 3-point distance. Dylan Cardwell had 10 points and 13 rebounds as the Tigers (20-1, 8-0) outrebounded the Rebels 41-30.
Sean Pedulla scored 29 for Ole Miss (16-6, 5-4).
NO. 2 DUKE 87, NORTH CAROLINA 70: Cooper Flagg had 21 points, eight rebounds and seven assists in his Duke-North Carolina rivalry debut, helping the Blue Devils roll past the visiting Tar Heels (13-10, 6-5 ACC).
Fellow freshman Kon Knueppel scored 22 points for Duke (19-2, 11-0), which won its 15th straight game.
NO. 4 ALABAMA 90, GEORGIA 69: Mark Sears scored 20 points and the Crimson Tide beat the Bulldogs for their fifth win in a row.
Grant Nelson had 16 points, 10 rebounds and four blocked shots for Alabama (19-3, 8-1 SEC).
Asa Newell scored 16 points for Georgia (15-7, 3-6).
BAYLOR 81, NO. 11 KANSAS 70: Robert Wright III scored 20 of his 24 points in the second half, and the host Bears rallied past the Jayhawks (15-6, 6-4 Big 12), who led 40-21 at halftime.
Norchad Omier put Baylor (14-7, 6-4) within 46-45 on two free throws with 13:39 remaining.
Baylor took the lead for good on a tiebreaking 3-pointer from Jalen Celestine with four minutes to go.
Hunter Dickinson scored 20 points for Kansas.
Omier had 18 points and 16 rebounds.
NO. 20 MISSOURI 88, NO. 14 MISSISSIPPI ST. 61: Caleb Grill shot 6 for 11 from 3-point range and scored 20 points as the visiting Tigers defeated the Bulldogs.
Missouri (17-4, 6-2 SEC) hit 15 of 32 shots from distance.
Josh Hubbard scored 24 points for Mississippi State (16-6, 4-5).
NO. 15 ST.JOHN’S 68, PROVIDENCE 66: Kadary Richmond scored 24 points, including the tiebreaking jumper with three seconds left, and the Red Storm held off the Friars at Madison Square Garden after blowing a 19-point lead in the final nine minutes.
RJ Luis Jr. added 19 points and eight rebounds for St.John’s (19-3, 10-1 Big East), off to the program’s best start in 39 years. It has won eight straight games and 14 of 15.
Jabri Abdur-Rahim had 27 points to help Providence (11-11, 5-6) rally.
