Age 91 Passed away peacefully on July 9, 2026. Preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Sheila, and his sister Rosemary. Born on April 1, 1935, in Saint Paul, Minnesota, Joe lived a life marked by kindness, integrity, and a genuine appreciation for the people around him. He was known for his warm smile, friendly nature, and ability to make everyone feel welcome. Whether meeting someone for the first time or greeting a lifelong friend, Joe treated all people with respect, compassion, and sincerity. Joe graduated from St. Thomas Academy before attending the United States Naval Academy. He later earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Virginia, preparing for a career built on dedication, intellect, and a strong sense of justice. Throughout his life, Joe valued education, service, and personal relationships. His generosity of spirit and unwavering kindness left a lasting impression on family, friends, colleagues, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be remembered not only for his accomplishments but also for the warmth and grace with which he lived each day. Joe’s memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him. His life serves as a lasting example of kindness, humility, and a life well lived. Joe wished to have a private burial at Resurrection Cemetery, Mendota Heights, Minnesota.
