Aptos
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jamie Ashley Antweiler on May 17at 8:50 pm PST. She was are markable person, a loving, devoted mother to her daughter, Lilliana, a wonderful loving daughter to her parents Karen and Dennis, a loving sister to Christopher and Brandon and a loving partner to Nate Weber. She was a veterinary tech and lover of animals, especially her Siberian Husky, Jenna. She was 41 years of age. Born in Santa Cruz, California in 1983, Jamie was raised in the communities of Soquel &Live Oak. As an adult she resided at various times in these two communities as well as Santa Cruz Gardens, Capitola and Aptos. As a young girl, her Dad and Mom called her their “Little Miss Sunshine”.
Jamie attended pre-school at the Soquel Congregational Church in Soquel, Elementary at Mid-County Christian, Middle School at New Brighton and a bit of time at Soquel High School. She attended Cabrillo College in Aptos and earned her AA Degree there. She then attended Veterinary Technician School at Foothill College in Los Alto Hills.
Jamie worked for Santa Cruz Veterinary Hospital initially at the Soquel Drive location and then at the 41st Avenue location.
More than one relative and friend of Jamie have said that she seemed to have a golden glow about her. As per her friends, this is Jamie:

Jamie is survived by her daughter Lilliana Weber of Aptos, her significant other, Nathan Weber of Aptos, her mother Karen Antweiler of Aptos, her father Dennis Antweiler of Aptos, her brother Christopher Antweiler of Freedom, her brother Brandon Antweiler of Aptos, and her mother-in-law Rebecca Weber of San Diego.
A Memorial Gathering is planned for Saturday June 7th at the Santa Cruz Memorial Oakwood Chapel with visiting from 1 to 3 pm and a service at 2 pm. Oakwood Chapel is at 3301 Paul Sweet Road, Santa Cruz, CA.
Another Memorial Gathering is planned for the spreading of Jamie’s ashes at sea. The time is yet to be determined.
