Joanna Louise Giuliano passed away peacefully on May 9, 2025, at the age of 81. Born on September 30, 1943, in Akron, Ohio, Joanna grew up with a deep sense of family, faith, and a strong commitment to service. She married Paul Giuliano on April 12, 1964, and together they built a life filled with devotion to one another, their family, and their community. Joanna was a resident of Rolling Hills Estates, California. She was a dedicated volunteer who took on numerous leadership roles, including serving as PTA president at Rancho Vista Elementary, where she spearheaded the school's annual carnival fundraiser. Joanna was an active member of the Peninsula Chapter of National Charity League from 1983 to 1989, where she contributed in many capacities, including managing the Ticktocker Thrift Shop and serving as Medallion chairman. In her later years, she returned to work and played an integral role in the family business, Giuliano's Gardena. Her work and creativity helped shape the legacy of the deli, which has been in operation since 1952. Above all, Joanna was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Paul; her children, Paul, Anthony, and Jennifer Kirk; and her four cherished grandchildren, who brought her endless joy. A service to honor Joanna's life will be held on June 4 at Rolling Hills United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in her memory to the Peninsula Committee Children's Hospital (PCCH) or Torrance Memorial Medical Foundation.
