February 5,1940 -February 6,2024 Costa Mesa, CA Our beautiful Mother, Jane Moralice, passed away one year ago on February 6, 2024, one day after we celebrated her 84th birthday. Jane passed away at home, surrounded by her children. The cause of death was from natural causes related to Melanoma.<br><br>Jane was born on February 5, 1940 in Lincoln, Nebraska.<br><br>She grew up on a farm and had many fond memories of living the "simple life". Her family moved around a lot and finally settled in Costa Mesa. Jane attended Newport Harbor High School and her first job was at Mesa Theater. Jane was blessed with good looks and was a Miss Costa Mesa runner-up. In 1958, she married Robert "Bob" Moralice and they immediately started a family. Together they made their family home in Mesa Verde. Jane and Bob were very social and we recall many fun times which usually involved wine and/or a martini or two.<br><br>Jane was beautiful inside and out. She was a wonderful homemaker, cook, seamstress and gardener. She took pride in her appearance, still putting on make-up in her final days. Jane loved her family and she always looked forward to family visits and parties.<br><br>Jane is survived by her children; Julie (Brad) Edmiston, Newport Beach, Lorri (Marc) Greeley, Costa Mesa, Robert Moralice, Costa Mesa, five grandchildren, Jaycee Edmiston, Meg (Daniel) Adams, Sydney (Nick) Trojan, Baylie Moralice and Robbie Moralice, sister, Carol Baker and many nieces and nephews. We would like to give a special thank you to Meridith Wyss who took great care of our Mother in her final months.<br><br>A private family service was held in February 2024.<br><br>Jane is laid to rest at Harbor Lawn in Costa Mesa.<div></div><br>
