in 2022, he averaged just 2.0 points in 26 games with Detroit this season.

Mann has long been coveted by the Clippers, who have previously declined offers to include him in potential trades and gave him a three-year, $47 million contract extension before this season. But the 6-foot-5 wing had fallen behind in coach Tyronn Lue’s rotation, in favor of such players as Porter and Amir Coffey. He played mostly with the second unit or insignificant minutes in blowouts.

Mann was averaging 6.0 points on 44.6% shooting, his lowest scoring output since 2019 when he was a newly drafted shooting guard averaging 2.4 points.

The Clippers acquired Hyland, a high-energy guard, from the Denver Nuggets in 2023 in exchange for two second-round draft picks. In his first 14 games in Los Angeles, Hyland scored an average of 10.8 points and 3.5 rebounds. His flashy style often gave the Clippers a lift down the stretch. But he recently saw his role slowly decrease and had appeared in just 20 games this season.

Porter, in his first season with the Clippers, averaged 9.3 points, 3.6 rebounds and 3.2 assists off the bench.

These deals followed the move the Clippers made on Saturday, when they acquired guard Patty Mills and forward Drew Eubanks from the Utah Jazz for Mo Bamba, P.J. Tucker, a 2030 second-round pick and cash considerations.
