With heavy hearts and sadness, we announce the passing of Robert David Alexander (“Dave”). Born June 8, 1944 in Tucumcari, New Mexico and passed away on February 12, 2025 at the age of 80 in Monterey, California.

Dave was a loving husband, loving grandfather of five, and great grandfather of six. He is survived by the love of his life, Judi, who he was married to for 62years, son Brad Alexander and family, and daughter Kim Hohenbrink and family. Dave and family moved to Carmel in 1981 and loved every minute living on this beautiful peninsula. Dave was a refrigeration technician for 55 years and the owner of McDonald Refrigeration Inc.. He made many friends through the years and enjoyed visiting with customers into his retirement. He loved playing the piano and guitar and loved all genres of music, but especially loved the “blues.” He will be missed.
