Tuesday, December 19, 10:30 a.m. — 12 p.m., Makerspace Snuggle up with your own adorable little gnome! We’ll teach you how to craft a cozy winter friend. Recommended for adults and teens.

Make a campsite out of supplies like graham crackers, frosting, sprinkles, gingerbread people, and more. All skill levels welcome. A One Book One Valley program.

Young Chautauqua Club

Thursday, January 4, 4 — 5:30 p.m., Hondius Room

What is Young Chautauqua, and how can you be a part of it? Teacher and facilitator Katherine Dumont will lead participants through research about the life, words, and mannerisms of a historical character. Young Chautauqua Club culminates in live, costumed performances in late February.

Cliffhanger Used Books, located next to the Post Office, is operated by the Friends of the Library Foundation, offering gently-used books, movies, and music at discount prices. Open daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; closed on December 25.
