ALLEN PARK >> After multiple weeks of bad injury news, the Lions could be getting back a defensive player from injured reserve as soon as this weekend.

Lions head coach Dan Campbell said cornerback Emmanuel Moseley, who tore his pec during joint practices with the New York Giants in August, could potentially make his season debut in the team’s Week 12 game at the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday.

“He’s gotten better over the last three weeks. … He’s trending the right way. I would love to get him up this game, and I think we’ll see what today looks like,” Campbell said Friday. “He’s continuing to get better and better.”

Campbell said he sees Moseley doing “a little bit of everything.”

“Corner, nickel, safety,” Campbell said. “He’s help is what he is.”

There was also positive news on tight end Sam LaPorta and cornerback Terrion Arnold, although fellow cornerback Ennis Rakestraw Jr. missed Friday’s practice with an unknown ailment.

LaPorta has been dealing with a sprained AC joint stemming from a hit taken in Detroit’s Week 10 win at Houston. He missed Sunday’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars but has been a full practice participant every day this week.

“He’s been good. Here we go, two days in and I feel like he’s trending the right way, so he looks pretty good,” Campbell said. “He looks like he’s got fresh legs so that’s good.”

Arnold, meanwhile, was limited in Thursday’s practice with a groin injury.

Campbell said he’s not concerned about Arnold’s potential availability.

“He should be good,” Campbell said. “This morning he went in, got treatment, everything looked like it’s pretty good, so we’ll see what he looks like at practice today. I’m not concerned right now, but we’ll see how this day goes.”
