Of Black Lives Matter protesters, Trump said “just shoot them.”Of the shooting of Capitol Hill rioter Ashli Babbitt and her attempt to enter the House chamber, “it was an execution.” It’s not just Trump’s hypocrisy that gets you, it’s his utter stupidity.

America, which of these two presidents would you prefer? One who pauses and says that I must pull my notes before I respond? Or, one who talks off the top of his head and suggests that we ingest bleach to heal ourselves? It is amazing that a percentage of conservatives prefer the latter!

Now that college athletes will be rewarded for their athletic skills, major businesses are aggressively approaching the high profile athletes with lucrative contracts in hand. One University of Connecticut female basketball player has already been offered a million dollar contract! Most agree that college athletes should be able to reap the benefits based upon their talents. My question is shouldn’t there be some guidelines associated with companies approaching students? What about signing contracts? What happens if a student can’t play or must leave school or violates the contract in some manner? Drugs, character issues, etc.? Here is my point: Companies are skilled at offering contracts that provide them with good protection! What about the skilled athlete who comes from an unstable or broken home? Please review the background of Miami’s Jimmy Butler. I firmly believe that the colleges and universities should move quickly with guidelines and services that will assist all athletes and especially those with little or no home support. Don’t forget, agents can create problems also!

Since Ronald Reagan and the rise of Fox News,the rich have convinced the middle class that the poor people are trying to eat their slice of pie. When it’s the rich that are worried about their own pie.

Congress needs to pass HR1. The bill protects everyone’s voting rights and ends gerrymandering. It would be the law of the land and end all of these state attempts at enacting unfair laws to one political party. Naturally Republicans are against it because it would be the patriotic thing to do.

Republicans latest lie is that Biden is going to force you to get a COVID-19 shot. They even compared it to the brown shirts in Germany going door to door to check identification in the 1930s. The only Nazis I see are the ones that attacked the Capitol on Feb. 6. By the way, they were carrying Trump flags.

Republicans are screaming you are trying to control their bodiesby making them get a COVID-19 shot. Isn’t that funny coming from the people that continue to change laws to not allow women the right to choose an abortion?

Trump continues to scam the taxpayers. He still charges federal agents on his detail for rooms and cottages at all his hotels. New Yorkers had it right when they named him Don the Con.
