Roland L. Owens was born on December 16, 1944 in Tonopah, NV. In 1963 Roland joined the Navy and was assigned to the USS Holder. Roland worked in the grocery store industry for many years and enjoyed helping his community. He loved to go fishing, camping and spending time with his kids. Roland is survived by his daughter Krista (Ryan) Minges and son Jeremy ( Joy) Owens. He loved when his grandkids Hunter Minges, Emma Owens and Bryson Owens visited him. He is proceeded in the death of his love of his life Pamela Owens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations made to Hospice or your local animal shelter. Services will be held at Monument Hill in Woodland, CA on Friday, June 2nd at 10:00am.
