CHELMSFORD - Arthur Sparages, 90, a longtime resident of Chelmsford, passed away at Church of God Home in Carlisle, PA on September 25, 2024. He was the beloved husband of the late Toula Sparages.

Arthur was born on January 27, 1934, in Cambridge, MA, the son of late Anastasios and Yiannoula (Souhleris) Sparages.

Arthur attended the University of Lowell, and later worked as a chemist in the manufacturing of printed circuit boards. He was a long-time member of Transfiguration Greek Orthodox Church in Lowell, where he sang in the choir for many years.

Arthur is survived by his three loving children, Joanne and her husband Eduardo Leon of Clarence, NY; Ernie and his wife Christine Sparages of Carlisle, PA; and Evan and his wife Denise of Marlborough, MA. He also is survived by nine grandchildren: Nicolas (and wife Cheryl), Vanessa and Sofia Leon; Ariana, Stephanie and Jordan Sparages; and Ana, Jacob and Lucas Sparages, and his baby great-granddaughter, Anastasia; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Monday, October 7 at the Transfiguration Greek Orthodox Church, 25 Fr. John Sarantos Way, Lowell, MA, followed by his Funeral Service beginning at 11 o’clock. Interment in Pine Ridge Cemetery, CHELMSFORD.
