Preschoolers at The Morgan Center received a visit from Santa Claus on Wednesday during a holiday celebration at the specialized preschool in Orlando for children undergoing treatment for cancer. The Morgan Center was founded by Rod and Nancy Zuch after their 2-year-old daughter, Morgan, was diagnosed with cancer in 2000. During her treatment, they recognized a need for families of toddlers diagnosed with cancer to have the opportunity to experience preschool β€” playing and making friends β€” while still adhering to strict hygiene protocols necessary for the children. Their daughter, Morgan Zuch, whom the organization is named after, is now a teacher at the preschool, which relies on funding and support from local organizations and individuals. β€œThe holiday party is one of my favorite days of the year,” said co-founder Rod Zuch, who was thrilled to help give the children at the school a memorable Christmas experience with their families.
