Sandra (Henshel) Jozefowicz, a woman whose life was a tapestry of family, creativity, and service, passed away on January 3, 2025, at the age of 77.
Born on New Year’s Eve in 1947, Sandra brought light and joy to all who knew her, leaving behind alega- cy of love and kindness.
Sandra was adevoted sister to Mary Ann (Henshel) Stahl and Deborah Sue (Henshel) Keyston, and she now reunites with her late sister, Barbara Henshel.
She was a loving mother to her sons, Robert and Alex Jozefowicz, and a cherished mother-in-law to Kathy and Jezel Jozefowicz.
Her grandchildren, Allegra Le, Tristen Joze fowicz, and Gabriel Jozefowicz, were the light of her life, and she treasured every moment with them.
Sandra’s life was filled with rich and varied interests.
She was atalented calligrapher, finding beauty in the art of the written word. Her love of antiquing brought her joy as she unearthed treasures from the past, and she was an adventurous solar eclipsechaser, traveling far and wide to witness nature’s awe-inspiring spectacles.
Sandra also loved camping and connecting with the great outdoors, as well as attending local theater and performing arts events, which stirred her creative soul.
Her life was not only marked by her passions but also by her deep sense of purpose. Sandra dedicated her time to volunteering at History Park and Sacred Heart, where her efforts made a lasting impact. Most dear to her heart was her work helping underprivileged children learn to read, reflecting her unwavering belief in the power of education to transform lives.
Sandra will be remembered for her radiant smile and her generous heart. She touched the lives of so many, and her memory will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all those she served.
A celebration of Sandra’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to organizations that support literacy programs for children, honoring Sandra’s lifelong commitment to helping others.
May her love, wisdom, and joy continue to inspire all who were blessed to know her.
