Scarlete Stateler and Alexa Castaneda each had a goal and two assists. Gigi Zuniga had a goal and an assist, and Isabella Doolittle also scored.

Goalkeeper Tayanna Bonilla made three saves.

At Scotts Valley 65, James Lick 21 >> Junior guard Samantha Rebbert scored 15 of her game-high 21 points in the first half, and the Falcons won their nonleague game Tuesday.

Hannah Shehorn scored 14 points for the Falcons, and Brooklyn Williams had 10 points and five rebounds.

Senior guard Masah Kikhia scored 15 points to lead the Comets (2-10).

Scotts Valley (9-2) plays at Woodside (4-5) on Saturday at 12:30 p.m.

At Westmont 50, Soquel 23 >> Ana Maurer scored nine points in the Knights’ nonleague finale in Campbell on Tuesday.

Women’s basketball

Menlo 67, at UC Santa Cruz 50 >> Emilie Ngo and Claire Galbo each scored 14 points in the Banana Slugs’ loss at the West Field House on Tuesday.

Alexa Litchev had nine points and nine rebounds, but committed eight of UCSC’s 22 turnovers.

Guard Jordyn Rosette, a graduate student, had 18 points, five rebounds, and four steals to lead the Oaks (6-7).
