Good news about Marin people

Dean’s list: Devran Yildiz, of San Rafael, was named to the dean’s list at Columbia College for the spring 2025 semester.

President’s list: Andrew Watson, of Fairfax; Olivier Desmet, of Mill Valley; and George Najm and Joshua Sewall, both of Novato, were named to the president’s list at Southern New Hampshire University for the spring 2025 term.

Recognition: Stella Little, of Novato, and Connor Moon, of San Anselmo, were named to Emerson College’s Gold Key Honor Society for the 2024-25 school year. The Gold Key Honor Society was founded at Emerson in 1962 to “recognize and encourage outstanding academic achievement.” Juniors in the top 5% of their class and seniors in the top 10% of their class who have earned at least 48 credits are eligible.
