Robert (Bob) Kealey was born May 11, 1934, and passed away December 25, 2022, in Pasadena, CA.

Bob was the son of Ronald and Cecelia (Walsh) Kealey and a lifetime resident of Pasadena.

He graduated from San Gabriel Mission High School in San Gabriel, CA, and maintained lifelong friendships from his time at school. After High School, Bob joined the Army and proudly served in the Korean War.

Bob and his brother Dan Kealey took over the family business, Kealey’s TV and Radio, which their father started in 1932 in Pasadena. Friends and family enjoyed ringing in the New Year by watching the Pasadena Rose Parade from this Colorado Blvd. location until the brothers retired. His brother Dan passed away in Arizona in 2018. Bob’s sister, Mary Dascomb, resides in Santa Ynez, CA.

Bob served as Boy Scout Master of Troop 31 in Pasadena for many years and was also a long-time member of the Pasadena Elks Lodge. He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed a wide range of activities - hiking, bike riding, water skiing, hunting, and fishing. In the winter months, you could find him snow skiing at Mammoth Mountain. He was also an avid Dodgers fan.

Bob was married for 65 years to his wife Carol Jean (Glenn) Kealey who passed away on March 28, 2022.

He is survived by his 5 children.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held February 23, 2023 at Assumption Church in Pasadena at 11am.
