Two-way forward Braxton Key had 21 points, 12 rebounds, and three assists, and the Santa Cruz Warriors beat the host Birmingham Squadron 107-98 on Sunday to continue their late-season bid to secure a spot in the NBA G League Western Conference playoffs.

Guard Yuri Collins also recorded a double-double with 16 points and 13 rebounds.

The Warriors (16-12) are tied with the Valley Suns (16-12) for fourth place in the conference with six games remaining in the regular season. The top six teams in the make the playoffs.

Santa Cruz looks to extend its win streak when it takes on the Texas Legends (8-19) in Frisco, Texas, on Tuesday at 5 p.m.

The Warriors outscored the Squadron 30-19 in the fourth quarter. Forward Jackson Rowe made a layup to give the Warriors an 83-81 lead with 10:35 left, and they never trailed again.

Santa Cruz shot 48.8% (40 of 82) from the field and had six players reach double digits in scoring at Legacy Arena at the BJCC in Alabama.

Rowe finished with 18 points, six rebounds, and three assists for the Warriors. Reserve Donta Scott had 17 points and seven rebounds. Forward Blake Hinson had 15 points and five rebounds.

Golden State two-way guard Taran Armstrong also came off the bench and had 12 points, seven rebounds, and five assists.

The defensive-minded Warriors recorded 14 steals and had the Squadron firing plenty of blanks. Birmingham shot 42.7% (38 of 89) from the field.

Guard Jalen Crutcher had 22 points, nine assists, and four rebounds to pace the Squadron (11-19). Forward Josh Oduro had 19 points and eight rebounds. Two-way guard Lester Quinones, a former Warrior, had 17 points, eight assists, and five rebounds. Two-way forward Keion Brooks Jr. had 16 points and 11 rebounds.
