All-Orange County boys basketball guard Demarcus Henry has left Mater Dei, Monarchs coach Gary McKnight confirmed.

Henry, 6-foot-6, was All-County third team last season as a sophomore. He was Mater Dei’s second-leading scorer last season at 15 points a game (behind Luke Barnett’s 21 points a game) and was the Monarchs’ top rebounder at seven rebounds a game.

McKnight said Henry intends to attend Compass Prep in Chandler, Ariz.
