Theology with a Twist meeting in Kutztown
Theology with a Twist meets March 3 at 7 p.m. in the Kutztown Tavern, 272 W. Main St.
Dr. Brigidda Zapata will lead a talk titled “From Her Own Means: The Women Who Bankrolled the Gospel.” Zapata is assistant professor of New Testament at Moravian Theological Seminary. Her scholarship looks at how several women helped the early Jesus movement with the material sustenance required to operate.
The group gathers in the upper room of the tavern. The event is free, but food and drink can be purchased in the restaurant downstairs and brought up to the event space.
Parking is available in the community lot behind the tavern or on Main Street.
