Mary Orr Edson was born on July 26, 1930, in Spokane, Washington, to Helen Shaw Orr and Thomas Clinton Orr. She was a 73 year resident of Knights Landing, where the Edsons farmed, raising walnuts, hogs, and cattle. She was predeceased by her husband, Wallace, and her son, Tom, of Portland, Oregon. She is survived by her son, John (Susan) of Vina, daughter-in-law Cindy of Portland, Oregon; and five grandchildren: Karen (Michael), Ryan (Mandy), Scott (Jennifer), Jim (Shelly), and Mary (Steven), along with 15 great-grandchildren. At Mary's request, there will be no funeral service. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date, with internment at the Knights Landing cemetery.<div></div><br>
