Joan Zelko was born in Detroit, MI to parents Jack and Eleanor Wellington.

She was one of four siblings, Mary Ann, John and her twin sister, Jean, all of whom predeceased her.

Joan is survived by her husband of 61 years, Jim, and her children, Jill Tripaldi (Greg), the late Bill Zelko and her grandchildren, Sadie and Luke.

Joan loved to golf until Parkinsons Disease took the game from her, and, was an active fan of Sadie and Luke's activities especially in sports and dance.

Joan was a graduate of San Gabriel Mission High School, Class of 1959, in San Gabriel, CA.

A Celebratory Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 24th at 10:00am at Holy Angels Catholic Church in Arcadia, CA. A reception will follow the Mass.
