In Loving Memory
It has been one year since the passing ofCharles Edward Warner, Jr. from cancer at the age of 62 years.
Charlie was endlessly kind, insightful, always growing personally and spiritually. He was an example to all of us of how to live life in the present, to be positive and helpful to everyone, and to express his love to those he cared about. He attended The Athenian school in Danville and Gordonstoun School in Scotland. He graduated as a pre-med student at the University of Oregon.
He learned the art of wood-working, cabinetmaking, and problem solving from his grandfather, Paul Angermeir. The Sausalito Floating Homes community, where he based his contracting business, Insight Builders, for over twenty years, was the beneficiary of these skills. There are many beautiful boats in our harbors that are a testament to his skills and creativity.
Charlie is remembered by his mother, Carole Angermeir and stepfather, Wilford Welch; his three grown daughters: Ashley Taylor (Joe), Kennedy Warner, and Sophia Johnson; two grand children, Jackson and Coralie Taylor. Charlie married Misty Stanton in his last days. He and Misty had known each other for many years and lived together his last few years, along with her daughter, Astrid. They are both part of of family.
Our family remains grateful to Providence Hospice of Petaluma, and to the many friends who offered their kindness and support during his illness and during the year since he passed.. We miss you Charlie. We love you, and you live on in our hearts.
